Pokud \u017did\u00e9 nebudou Boha poslouchat, sl\u00edbil jim v\u0161echny mo\u017en\u00e9 tresty: proklel jejich d\u011bti, \u00farodu, st\u00e1da, zdrav\u00ed, zdrav\u00ed jejich d\u011bt\u00ed, blahobyt n\u00e1roda atd. P\u0159edpov\u011bd\u011bl, \u017ee dokonce p\u016fjdou do zajet\u00ed a budou m\u00edt tak stra\u0161n\u00e9 \u010dasn\u00e9 fyzick\u00e9 soudy, \u017ee je do\u017eenou k tomu, aby jedli sv\u00e9 vlastn\u00ed d\u011bti. Mezi tak rozs\u00e1hl\u00fdm v\u00fd\u010dtem trest\u016f, kter\u00e9 postihnou jeho neposlu\u0161n\u00fd lid, B\u016fh nevyslovil ani \u0161eptem, \u017ee by na n\u011b v p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b jak\u00e9koli vzpoury dopadla nekone\u010dn\u00e1 muka. V\u0161echny tyto fyzick\u00e9, \u010dasn\u00e9 soudy se odehr\u00e1ly za jejich \u017eivota.<\/p>\n<p>V\u0161echny p\u0159\u00edpady \u010dasn\u00fdch trest\u016f za vzpouru, zka\u017eenost a modloslu\u017ebu za Moj\u017e\u00ed\u0161e bychom mohli vypsat. Vyjmenoval je do nejmen\u0161\u00edch podrobnost\u00ed. Pisatel listu \u017did\u016fm napsal: &#8222;&#8230; Nebo\u0165 jestli\u017ee slovo (z\u00e1kon), kter\u00e9 bylo \u0159e\u010deno skrze and\u011bly, bylo pevn\u00e9 a ka\u017ed\u00e9 p\u0159estoupen\u00ed a ka\u017ed\u00e1 neposlu\u0161nost do\u0161ly spravedliv\u00e9 odplaty, &#8230;&#8220; (2:2). Jak jsme vid\u011bli, trest byl fyzick\u00fd a do\u010dasn\u00fd, bez jak\u00e9hokoli p\u0159\u00edslibu nekone\u010dn\u00e9ho tr\u00e1pen\u00ed. Nekone\u010dn\u00e9 tr\u00e1pen\u00ed prost\u011b v Z\u00e1konu nikde nenajdeme.<\/p>\n<p>Nyn\u00ed vyvst\u00e1v\u00e1 ot\u00e1zka, zda ka\u017ed\u00fd p\u0159estupn\u00edk a neposlu\u0161n\u00fd \u017did dostal spravedliv\u00fd trest, nebo ne? Pokud ano, bude jejich trest i nad\u00e1le spravedliv\u00fd, pokud je\u0161t\u011b nav\u00edc v budoucnu obdr\u017e\u00ed i nekone\u010dn\u00e1 muka v &#8222;pekle&#8220; \u010di &#8222;gehenn\u011b&#8220;, i kdy\u017e\u00a0 jim o tom nikdo ne\u0159ekl a proto o tom nic nev\u011bd\u011bli? Pokud ano, bude v\u011b\u010dn\u00e9 mu\u010den\u00ed p\u0159ichystan\u00e9 po jejich spravedliv\u00e9m fyzick\u00e9m \u010dasn\u00e9m trestu je\u0161t\u011b spravedliv\u00e9? To p\u0159ece nem\u016f\u017ee b\u00fdt spravedliv\u00e9, nebo ano? Jak m\u016f\u017ee b\u00fdt p\u0159id\u00e1n\u00ed nekone\u010dn\u00fdch muk v budoucnosti, o kter\u00fdch nav\u00edc nic nev\u011bd\u011bli, ke spravedliv\u00e9mu trestu, kter\u00fd ji\u017e v minulosti podle Star\u00e9ho z\u00e1kona obdr\u017eeli, je\u0161t\u011b spravedliv\u00e9?<\/p>\n<p>Shrnuto a podtr\u017eeno, obl\u00edben\u00fd koncept pekla se nikde ve Star\u00e9m z\u00e1kon\u011b nevyskytuje. Slovo gehenna nen\u00ed obsa\u017eeno ani v \u0159eck\u00e9m Star\u00e9m z\u00e1kon\u011b, tak\u017ee nekone\u010dn\u00e1 muka se na jeho str\u00e1nk\u00e1ch nikde nevyskytuj\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kde se vzal koncept v\u011b\u010dn\u00fdch muk?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jak jsme vid\u011bli, zcela jist\u011b koncept v\u011b\u010dn\u00fdch muk nevznikl ve Star\u00e9m z\u00e1kon\u011b, a to ani p\u0159ed Moj\u017e\u00ed\u0161ov\u00fdm z\u00e1konem, ani v jeho pr\u016fb\u011bhu. Mnoho d\u016fkaz\u016f (v\u00edce, ne\u017e zde uvedeme) nazna\u010duje, \u017ee vznikl v Egypt\u011b a tento koncept byl v n\u00e1bo\u017eensk\u00e9m sv\u011bt\u011b velmi roz\u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u00fd. Augustin, kdy\u017e se vyjad\u0159oval k \u00fa\u010delu takov\u00fdch nauk, \u0159ekl:<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;vl\u00e1dcov\u00e9 ve jm\u00e9nu n\u00e1bo\u017eenstv\u00ed p\u0159esv\u011bd\u010dovali lid, aby v\u011b\u0159il nepravdiv\u00fdm v\u011bcem, o nich\u017e sami v\u011bd\u011bli, \u017ee jsou to plan\u00e9 b\u00e1chorky; t\u00edm ho pro vlastn\u00ed usnadn\u011bn\u00ed vl\u00e1dy t\u00edm t\u011bsn\u011bji p\u0159ipout\u00e1vali ke st\u00e1tn\u00edmu celku, aby je tak podobn\u011b ovl\u00e1dali jako poddan\u00e9. <em>(Augustin, M\u011bsto Bo\u017e\u00ed, kniha IV, odst. 32, str. 229)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Vym\u00fd\u0161len\u00ed doktr\u00edn k ovl\u00e1d\u00e1n\u00ed lid\u00ed? Kdo by tomu v\u011b\u0159il? Inu, \u0159eck\u00fd sv\u011bt ano, \u0159\u00edmsk\u00fd ano a z\u0159ejm\u011b se do toho v mezidob\u00ed mezi ob\u011bma sv\u011bdectv\u00edmi zapojili i \u017did\u00e9, proto\u017ee koncept nekone\u010dn\u00fdch muk se za\u010dal objevovat v apokryfn\u00edch knih\u00e1ch sepsan\u00fdch egyptsk\u00fdmi \u017didy.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas Baldwin Thayer, autor The Origin and History of the Doctrine of Endless Punishment \/ P\u016fvod a historie nauky o nekone\u010dn\u00e9m trestu, napsal:<\/p>\n<p>Historik Polybius \u0159\u00edk\u00e1: &#8222;Proto\u017ee je lid v\u011b\u010dn\u011b nest\u00e1l\u00fd, pln\u00fd bezpr\u00e1vn\u00fdch tu\u017eeb, iracion\u00e1ln\u00edch v\u00e1\u0161n\u00ed a n\u00e1sil\u00ed, nen\u00ed jin\u00e9ho zp\u016fsobu, jak ho udr\u017eet v po\u0159\u00e1dku, ne\u017e strachem a hr\u016fzou z neviditeln\u00e9ho sv\u011bta; z tohoto d\u016fvodu se mi zd\u00e1, \u017ee na\u0161i p\u0159edkov\u00e9 jednali rozumn\u011b, kdy\u017e vymysleli, jak do lidov\u00e9 v\u00edry vn\u00e9st tyto p\u0159edstavy o boz\u00edch a pekeln\u00fdch oblastech.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Ve stejn\u00e9m duchu o tom mluv\u00ed i slavn\u00fd historik Livius, kter\u00fd chv\u00e1l\u00ed Numovu moudrost, proto\u017ee vymyslel b\u00e1ze\u0148 p\u0159ed bohy jako &#8222;nej\u00fa\u010dinn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed prost\u0159edek k \u0159\u00edzen\u00ed nev\u011bdom\u00e9ho a barbarsk\u00e9ho lidu.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Zem\u011bpisec Strab\u00f3n \u0159\u00edk\u00e1: &#8222;Lid\u00e9 jsou zdr\u017eov\u00e1ni od ne\u0159est\u00ed tresty, kter\u00e9 pr\u00fd bohov\u00e9 ukl\u00e1daj\u00ed provinilc\u016fm, a t\u011bmi hr\u016fzami a hrozbami, kter\u00e9 jim vtiskuj\u00ed do mysli ur\u010dit\u00e1 stra\u0161n\u00e1 slova a obludn\u00e9 p\u0159edstavy&#8230;&#8220; Je toti\u017e nemo\u017en\u00e9 \u0159\u00eddit dav \u017een a v\u0161echnu tu oby\u010dejnou ch\u00e1tru filosofickou \u00favahou a v\u00e9st je ke zbo\u017enosti, svatosti a ctnosti, ale mus\u00ed se to d\u00edt pov\u011brou nebo strachem z boh\u016f pomoc\u00ed b\u00e1j\u00ed a z\u00e1zrak\u016f; nebo\u0165 hromy, trojzubce, ohe\u0148, draci atd, to v\u0161echno jsou b\u00e1chorky, stejn\u011b jako cel\u00e1 starov\u011bk\u00e1 teologie. Tyto v\u011bci z\u00e1konod\u00e1rci pou\u017e\u00edvali jako stra\u0161\u00e1ky, aby d\u011bsili nev\u011bdom\u00fd dav.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Timaeus Locrus, pythagorejec, po konstatov\u00e1n\u00ed, \u017ee u\u010den\u00ed o posmrtn\u00fdch odm\u011bn\u00e1ch a trestech je pro spole\u010dnost nutn\u00e9, pokra\u010duje takto: &#8222;Nebo\u0165 jako n\u011bkdy l\u00e9\u010d\u00edme t\u011blo nezdrav\u00fdmi l\u00e9ky, kdy\u017e ty nejzdrav\u011bj\u0161\u00ed nevyvol\u00e1vaj\u00ed \u017e\u00e1dn\u00fd \u00fa\u010dinek, tak podma\u0148ujeme fale\u0161n\u00fdmi souvislostmi ty mysli, kter\u00e9 se nenechaj\u00ed p\u0159esv\u011bd\u010dit pravdou. \/ Je tedy nutn\u00e9 v\u0161t\u011bpovat hr\u016fzu z t\u011bch ciz\u00edch muk, jako \u017ee du\u0161e m\u011bn\u00ed sv\u00e9 obydl\u00ed, \u017ee zbab\u011blec je potupn\u011b vr\u017een do t\u011bla \u017eeny, vrah uv\u011bzn\u011bn v podob\u011b divok\u00e9ho zv\u00ed\u0159ete, marniv\u00fd a nest\u00e1l\u00fd se m\u011bn\u00ed v pt\u00e1ka a leniv\u00fd a nev\u011bdom\u00fd v rybu.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Plat\u00f3n ve sv\u00e9m koment\u00e1\u0159i k Timaiovi pln\u011b potvrzuje to, co \u0159\u00edk\u00e1 o b\u00e1jn\u00e9m v\u00fdmyslu t\u011bchto ciz\u00edch muk. A Strab\u00f3n \u0159\u00edk\u00e1, \u017ee &#8222;Plat\u00f3n a indi\u010dt\u00ed br\u00e1hmani si vymysleli b\u00e1je o budouc\u00edch soudech v pekle&#8220; (H\u00e1du). A Chrysippos obvi\u0148uje Plat\u00f3na, \u017ee se sna\u017e\u00ed stra\u0161ideln\u00fdmi historkami o budouc\u00edch trestech odradit lidi od \u0161patn\u00e9ho jedn\u00e1n\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Pl\u00fatarchos se k tomuto t\u00e9matu stav\u00ed stejn\u011b; n\u011bkdy je obhajuje s velkou v\u00e1\u017enost\u00ed a seri\u00f3znost\u00ed, jindy je naz\u00fdv\u00e1 &#8222;b\u00e1jn\u00fdmi p\u0159\u00edb\u011bhy, poh\u00e1dkami matek a kojn\u00fdch&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>Seneca \u0159\u00edk\u00e1: &#8222;To, co \u010din\u00ed pekeln\u00e9 kraje stra\u0161n\u00fdmi, temnota, v\u011bzen\u00ed, \u0159eka planouc\u00edho ohn\u011b, soudn\u00e1 stolice atd., to v\u0161e jsou b\u00e1chorky, jimi\u017e se b\u00e1sn\u00edci bav\u00ed a vzru\u0161uj\u00ed n\u00e1s t\u011bmito marn\u00fdmi hr\u016fzami&#8220;. Sextus Empiricus je naz\u00fdv\u00e1 &#8222;b\u00e1snick\u00fdmi poh\u00e1dkami pekla&#8220; a Cicero o nich mluv\u00ed jako o &#8222;hloup\u00fdch nesmyslech a poh\u00e1dk\u00e1ch&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Aristoteles. &#8222;Od nejstar\u0161\u00edch dob se potomk\u016fm p\u0159ed\u00e1valo v mytick\u00e9 podob\u011b, \u017ee existuj\u00ed bohov\u00e9 a \u017ee bo\u017estvo obklopuje celou p\u0159\u00edrodu. To v\u0161e krom\u011b toho bylo p\u0159id\u00e1no podle m\u00fdtick\u00e9ho stylu za \u00fa\u010delem p\u0159esv\u011bd\u010den\u00ed davu a v z\u00e1jmu z\u00e1kon\u016f a prosp\u011bchu st\u00e1tu.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Mosheim ve sv\u00fdch legend\u00e1rn\u00edch Institutech c\u00edrkevn\u00edch d\u011bjin popsal pronik\u00e1n\u00ed t\u011bchto b\u00e1j\u00ed mezi \u017didy v obdob\u00ed mezi ob\u011bma z\u00e1kony:<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;Bludy velmi zhoubn\u00e9ho druhu zamo\u0159ily cel\u00fd lid (\u017didy). P\u0159evl\u00e1dalo mezi nimi n\u011bkolik nesmysln\u00fdch a pov\u011br\u010div\u00fdch p\u0159edstav o bo\u017esk\u00e9 podstat\u011b, neviditeln\u00fdch sil\u00e1ch, magii atd. kter\u00e9 si z\u010d\u00e1sti p\u0159inesli z babylonsk\u00e9ho zajet\u00ed a z\u010d\u00e1sti je p\u0159evzali od Egyp\u0165an\u016f, Sy\u0159an\u016f a Arab\u016f, kte\u0159\u00ed \u017eili v jejich sousedstv\u00ed. P\u0159edkov\u00e9 t\u011bch \u017did\u016f, kte\u0159\u00ed \u017eili v dob\u011b na\u0161eho Spasitele, si z Chaldeje a sousedn\u00edch zem\u00ed p\u0159inesli mnoho extravagantn\u00edch a plan\u00fdch v\u00fdmysl\u016f, kter\u00e9 byly p\u016fvodn\u00edm zakladatel\u016fm n\u00e1roda naprosto nezn\u00e1m\u00e9. Dobyt\u00ed Asie Alexandrem Velik\u00fdm bylo tak\u00e9 ud\u00e1lost\u00ed, od n\u00ed\u017e m\u016f\u017eeme datovat nov\u00fd p\u0159\u00edr\u016fstek blud\u016f do \u017eidovsk\u00e9ho syst\u00e9mu, nebo\u0165 v d\u016fsledku tohoto p\u0159evratu se mezi \u017didy za\u010daly \u0161\u00ed\u0159it \u0159eck\u00e9 b\u00e1je a n\u00e1zory. Krom\u011b toho si p\u0159i sv\u00fdch cest\u00e1ch do Egypta a F\u00e9nicie p\u0159ivezli dom\u016f nejen bohatstv\u00ed t\u011bchto zka\u017een\u00fdch a pov\u011br\u010div\u00fdch n\u00e1rod\u016f, ale tak\u00e9 jejich zhoubn\u00e9 bludy a plan\u00e9 poh\u00e1dky, kter\u00e9 se nepozorovan\u011b sm\u00edsily s jejich vlastn\u00edmi n\u00e1bo\u017eensk\u00fdmi naukami.&#8220; (Mosheim Institutes of Ecclesiastical History, Century I pt. I kap. ii.)<\/p>\n<p>Podobn\u011b se vyjad\u0159uje i star\u00e1 Encyclopedia Americana, kterou cituje Thayer:<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;Hebrejci z\u00edskali sv\u00e9 u\u010den\u00ed o d\u00e9monech ze dvou zdroj\u016f. V dob\u011b babylonsk\u00e9ho zajet\u00ed ji \u010derpali z pramene chaldejsko-persk\u00e9 magie; pozd\u011bji, v dob\u011b \u0159eck\u00e9 nadvl\u00e1dy v Egypt\u011b, byli v \u00fazk\u00e9m styku s t\u011bmito cizinci, zejm\u00e9na v Alexandrii, a k magick\u00fdm pojm\u016fm p\u0159idali ty, kter\u00e9 si vyp\u016fj\u010dili z tohoto egyptsko-\u0159eck\u00e9ho zdroje. A toto spojen\u00ed a sm\u00ed\u0161en\u00ed je patrn\u00e9 p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm v Nov\u00e9m z\u00e1kon\u011b. Nebylo mo\u017en\u00e9 zabr\u00e1nit prol\u00edn\u00e1n\u00ed \u0159eck\u00fdch spekulac\u00ed. Hlas prorok\u016f ml\u010del. Za\u010dalo studium a b\u00e1d\u00e1n\u00ed. Lidov\u00e1 v\u00edra a filosofie se odd\u011blily; a dokonce i filosofov\u00e9 se rozd\u011blili do n\u011bkolika sekt, saducej\u016f, farizej\u016f a esejc\u016f; a plat\u00f3nsk\u00e9 a pythagorejsk\u00e9 pojmy, sm\u00ed\u0161en\u00e9 s orient\u00e1ln\u00edmi naukami, ji\u017e rozvinuly z\u00e1rodek hel\u00e9nistick\u00e9 a kabalistick\u00e9 filosofie. Takov\u00fd byl stav v\u011bc\u00ed, kdy\u017e se objevil Kristus.&#8220; (Encyclopedia Americana, \u010dl. &#8222;Demon&#8220;, citov\u00e1no podle Thayera (Origin &amp; History, str. 120).<\/p>\n<p>V\u0161imn\u011bme si, \u017ee Luk\u00e1\u0161 ve Skutc\u00edch 7,22 napsal, \u017ee &#8222;Moj\u017e\u00ed\u0161 byl u\u010den ve v\u0161\u00ed moudrosti Egyp\u0165an\u016f&#8220;, a p\u0159esto\u017ee znal egyptsk\u00e9 pojmy, v \u017e\u00e1dn\u00e9m ze sv\u00fdch spis\u016f nedal \u017e\u00e1dn\u00fd prostor pro jak\u00e1koliv v\u011b\u010dn\u00e1 muka.<\/p>\n<p>Vid\u00edme tedy, \u017ee koncept posmrtn\u00e9ho \u017eivota s v\u011b\u010dn\u00fdmi mukami se ve Star\u00e9m z\u00e1kon\u011b nevyskytoval. Z\u0159ejm\u011b se vpl\u00ed\u017eila mezi n\u011bkter\u00e9 \u017didy v obdob\u00ed mezi dv\u011bma z\u00e1kony.<\/p>\n<p>Thayer shrnuje meziz\u00e1konn\u00ed obdob\u00ed v tomto ohledu n\u00e1sleduj\u00edc\u00edmi slovy:<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;Pravdou je, \u017ee za \u010dty\u0159i sta let jejich styk\u016f s pohany, b\u011bhem nich\u017e byli bez jak\u00e9hokoli bo\u017esk\u00e9ho u\u010ditele poselstv\u00ed, pohansk\u00e1 filozofie a pov\u011bra, pokud jde o budouc\u00ed stav, zcela vytla\u010dila Moj\u017e\u00ed\u0161\u016fv z\u00e1kon a P\u00edsmo Star\u00e9ho z\u00e1kona a na jejich m\u00edsto postavila sv\u00e9 vlastn\u00ed extravagantn\u00ed v\u00fdmysly a b\u00e1je o neviditeln\u00e9m sv\u011bt\u011b.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sozo.cz\/?p=9402\">pokra\u010dov\u00e1n\u00ed &gt;&gt;<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sozo.cz\/?p=9379\">&lt;&lt; p\u0159edch\u00e1zej\u00edc\u00ed d\u00edl<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Omluvte p\u0159\u00edpadnou kvalitu p\u0159ekladu.
